Bug Fix

Turning off a dialer seat no longer promises a refund that isn't coming

If you run a branch under an enterprise account, turning off a team member’s
dialer showed a confirmation that promised “This seat stops being billed on
your next invoice.”
For some branches that credit was never going to arrive,
because the seat wasn’t on your bill to begin with.

A branch member can hold dialer access without a matching per-seat charge on the
team’s subscription. When that happens, the old confirmation still promised the
charge would stop — so an owner would turn off a seat expecting a smaller
invoice and see no change at all.

What’s fixed

On an enterprise branch, the confirmation no longer makes a claim about the
direction of your bill. It now says:

  • Dialer billing is updated to match the seats that still have access

That holds whichever way your bill actually moves. It’s the honest answer,
because on a branch the outcome genuinely depends on what your enterprise
account is doing — whether the dialer is bundled into your plan, and whether a
pricing or billing-cadence change is still working its way through.

Teams on their own subscription plan are unchanged. There, the dialer is always
a paid per-seat add-on, so turning a seat off does stop that charge — and the
confirmation still says so.
